The (fashion-y) blog

Silhouettes, construction, and brand integrity are all components that I praise. Performative trends, on the other hand, are gimmicks that I am quick to point out. Whether you are interested in learning the basics of how to perfect daily presentation or analyzing each intricate detail of haute couture, you will find your niche here.

At Archive 25, I value brands maintaining their timeless qualities without wagering expression. I observe the trends of the season and how they will inevitably trickle down into the wardrobes of the average person. I pay attention to the construction of the dresses. For dresses that have a price tag more than most people make in half a year, the hems, weight, and lining are elements I expect perfection from. I examine silhouette as a study of balance, construction as a record of intent, and brand integrity as the line between identity and pandering.

Mademoiselle Collette

For the longest time, I have had a passion for food. I remember my first time ever cutting anything, which was a banana with my grandma (and I thought I was being ultra scandalous), or the first thing I ever baked being chocolate chip cookies with my mom. I don’t just see food as a means to provide nutritional value, but a way to develop a haven of personal memories. My family would be able to tell you how—without fail—I have baked a cake for each family member’s birthday since I was 12. I would still be able to tell you the flavors and the events that are associated with each one, tucked away into my mind.

One of my own core beliefs is that it’s important to allow yourself to enjoy a meal intentionally, surrounded by friends and family. That brings me to my reason for starting this blog. I would like to spread my own love of food, recipes, and restaurants with all of you fellow readers. So, for anyone who lives in the San Francisco Bay or is visiting, this page is for you. Consider me your favorite anonymous foodie!
